Do I need to have any experience using Joomla?
Absolutely not. We train from the absolute beginning and assume you know nothing about Joomla.

Do I have to be technically proficient?
No, Joomla was designed for ease of use and we teach all that is necessary to get your Joomla website up and running.

What are the payment options?
Payment can be made online via a Paypal account.

How do I access the video tutorials?
Once you've purchased a subscription, you can access the online training videos through the Joomlearn online Training interface. Please note that you need to sign in to your account.

How do the Project Files work? Can I download them?
Project Files are designed to help you practice the lesson as you watch the presenter. Project Files can be downloaded as an archive from the same pages you are watching the videos on just below the videos.

Is watching the online videos secure?
Yes, watching the online videos does not expose your computer to any potential risk.

Am I able to pause, fast forward and rewind the training videos when viewing them online?
Yes, you can quickly move to any topic in the training by selecting a particular clip in the interface. Controls are provided for pause and fast forward or reverse. In addition, as the clip is downloaded it becomes possible to move forward or backward through the clip as desired by selecting a point on the progress bar.

Am I able to jump between different video tutorials easily?
Yes, it is a simple process to select which lesson you want to watch. The Joomlearn interface provides you with a list of tutorials to choose from and you can even select a topic within a specific tutorial.

What is your refund policy for online training?
All Joomlearn subscriptions are non-refundable.

At the end of my subscription, will it be automatically renewed?
Yes, all subscriptions automatically renew. By purchasing a subscription you are authorizing an automatic monthly renewal of your membership.

How do I Cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your online subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription,  simply log into your Paypal.com account to manage your subscription.

How do I reactivate my subscription?
You may reactivate your subscription at any time by logging into your Joomlearn.com account and simply purchasing a new subscription.

Live Training Class FAQ

How long are the training classes?
Our standard, open enrollment classes are held from 9:00am - 4:00pm with a 40 minute lunch break and short breaks throughout the day.

What are the class sizes?
Our minimum class size is 10 students and a maximum of 35 students, each with their own workstation.

Do I need to have any experience using Joomla?
Absolutely not. We train from the absolute beginning and we can adjust our classes to meet the needs of the attendees.

Do I have to be technically proficient?
No, Joomla was designed for ease of use and we teach all that is necessary to get your Joomla website up and running.

What should I bring to class?
Not a thing. We provide all training materials, computer workstations (unless noted), snacks, and lunch.

How much does a class cost?
Pricing is based on the level and number of days of the class. There are volume discounts for corporate customers. Group training is another cost-effective option. See our current class schedule for pricing on open enrollment classes.

What are the payment options?
Payment can be made online via a Paypal account or Credit Card. Payment is due upon signup and we do not accept registrations at the door. Please note that if paying by check, your registration will not be confirmed until we receive your check.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Class Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration, you will receive a refund depending on the time of your cancellation:

• 4 weeks before event = 100% refund

• 3 weeks before event = 50% refund

• 2 weeks before event = no refunds

We reserve the right to cancel an event with a full refund due to low enrollment or other factors.

Is the training hands-on?
Yes, each student has his/her own computer.

What are the training options for corporations?
Corporate Group Training - Classes are offered for a group of your employees at your company's training facility or an offsite location of your choice.

Small Group Training - One-on-one and small group training sessions are available on a variety of topics or applications.

Open Enrollment Classes - Regularly scheduled classes are offered to individuals.

What do I get to take away with me from the class?

Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are very heavily involved in the Joomla CMS world and have years of experience with Joomla and content management systems.
